Merrlyn Seefeldt, the co-founder of Electro Industries Inc., passed away in her home surrounded by the love of family on Wednesday morning June 5th. She had been battling with NASH (Non-Alcoholic Cirrhosis of the Liver) for the past 8 months. She entered heaven’s gates peacefully and leaves behind a great legacy.

Bill and Merrlyn started Electro over 50 years ago and because of their commitment and hard work it is still going strong today. Throughout these years they have helped Electro to remain a staple in the electric heat management market. Many of you can testify seeing them ride around on their white trike (3 wheeled motorcycle) many times over the past 35 years. They were a team, using their God given gifts to the fullest. Thousands of people have been impacted through them and their legacy will continue for years to come.

The services are as follows:

Visitation – Monday evening June 17th at Peterson Grimsmo Chapel in Monticello from 5:00-8:00
250 Broadway St. E
Monticello, MN   55362

Funeral – Tuesday afternoon June 18th at Bridgeview Church in Big Lake at 4:00 with visitation 2 hours preceding
20500 County Road 11
Big Lake, MN 55309

This home-going celebration is bittersweet. Although we will miss her greatly we know we will see her again. Her life encourages all of us to “live and love better”. We will never know when we will take our last breath and that should impact everything we do and say today.  Her life holds such a testimony. Nothing was more important to her than faith and family. But Electro was always a solid 3rd.

PLEASE NOTE: Electro will close at noon on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 for Merrlyn’s funeral.
