Electro-Boiler® Accessories

Electro offers a variety of accessories designed to simplify your Electro-Boiler installation and ensure efficient operation. Zone Controls for TS Series boilers will simplify wiring and offer unique performance enhancements such as specific BTU setting per zone, zone priority with high temp, and zone valve or zone pump control. Piping and pump kits provide exactly what you need to get started on a successful install that provides years of worry-free operation.

Zone Controls

Our zone controls are designed simplify wiring and enhance system performance by communicating zone information to the TS Series boilers. With unique “dial a BTU” switch, adjusting the BTU’s required for each zone is easy and allows the boiler to quickly adapt to the changing flow rates of different size zones. Optional Zone 1 priority allows heat to Zone 1 only. When two different water temperatures are desired for your system, switch to high temp priority and the boiler will increase output temperature (to 155° or 180°) for Zone 1. This allows you to direct pipe to radiant floor manifolds and a baseboard, radiator zone, or indirect domestic hot water tank. This can eliminate temperature mixing valves and simplify system piping.

Zone Controls with Enclosure & Transformer

  • EB-ZEA-1 – for applications of up to 4 zones, with isolated outputs this board will control zone valves, zone pumps, or a combination of both
  • EB-ZEA-2 – adds 4 additional zones to the EB-ZEA-1
  • EB-ZES-1 – for applications of up to 4 zones, designed to control zone valves only
  • EB-ZTS-2 – adds 4 additional zones to the EB-ZES-1
  • EB-ZEA8 – for applications of up to 8 zones, designed to control up to 8 zone pumps
  • EB-ZES8 – for applications of up to 8 zones, designed to control up to 8 zone valves (transformer not included)

Zone Controls without Enclosure or Transformer (designed to mount inside the TS Standard Series boiler)

  • EB-ZTA-1 – for applications of up to 4 zones, with isolated outputs this board will control zone valves, zone pumps, or a combination of both
  • EB-ZTS-1 – for applications of up to 4 zones, designed to control zone valves only

Other Accessories

Single Feed Wiring Adaptor – available to use on TS Series boilers up to 27 kW, this adaptor allows for a single 240VAC power feed to the boiler. Consult your boiler specification sheet to determine the number of disconnect breakers.

  • 5701 – single feed to 2 breakers
  • 5702 – single feed to 3 breakers

Multi-Boiler Control – when using two or more TS Series boilers on a single radiant application, this control provides a simple, economical way to control all connected boilers to a single thermostat or operating control.

  • EB-C-STG5 – multi-boiler control

Stat Override Timer – when pairing your Electro-Boiler with a gas boiler backup, it may be desirable to switch from electric to gas based on run time.

  • SOT-1 – adjustable between 40-80 minutes

Standby Switch – when adding a gas boiler to your early model TS Series boiler installation, Electro’s standby switch provides a convenient method of controlling both boilers with a single thermostat

  • EB-S-SB – standby switch

Zone Pump Relay

  • EE-5051 – control two pumps with one thermostat call

Isolation Relay

  • EE-5053 – 24V AC/DC relay can be used to provide isolation between boilers or components with built-in transformers

Load Shed Control

  • EM-LS-NC – this control can be used to prevent multiple large electric loads from operating simultaneously

Interface Modules, Industrial Boiler Only

  • EB-N-BAC – building automation system BACnet interface module
  • EB-N-LON – building automation system LonWorks interface module
